If you've got an Edge Attitude, TST, Bully Dog Outlook, satellite radio, or iPod, you're probably looking for a mount to secure it inside the cab of your truck. You're options are to drill your dash, use a large suction cup arm off of the windshield, use adhesives on your dash, or paint and install a plastic cover over your stock pillar and drive a screw into your truck.
The Pillar Pin eliminates all of these problems and allows you to easily and cleanly mount your electronics without damage to your truck. Installation is simple. Just remove the small plastic cover below the grab handle, remove the bolt and replace it with the Pillar Pin. You now have a clean, sturdy, and adjustable mount that doesn't permanently damage your truck. In minutes, you can return your truck to stock. This will increase resale value when it comes time to trade or sell the truck.
The component thumbnail above shows what comes with the kit. The mounting platform comes as a 6" x 2" platform that you can cut down to fit whatever it is that you are mounting. The mounting platform in the pic above has been cut down to fit an Edge Attitude and is about 4" long. You can choose to center the mounting ball, or offset if as in the picture. You will also need some Velcro to mount your unit to the mount if this is your mounting method. 2" wide adhesive Velcro is available at fabric stores and your local Wal-Mart.
